Here are projected opening dates (weather & conditions permitting) for many Mono County winter activities:
- Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (MMSA) - November 10, 2023
- High Sierra Snowcat & Yurt - Booking now - please check website for availability!
- Mammoth Mountain Scenic Gondola Rides - November 10-12 for opening weekend, then daily service is expected to begin November 18, 2023.
- Year-Round* Fishing - November 16, 2023 through April 26, 2024
*Special rules & regulations apply. The regular fishing season begins each year on the last Saturday in April (April 27, 2024). - Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center - November 18, 2023
- Tube Park at Woolly's Adventure Summit - November 24, 2023
- LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes (NEW indoor ice rink) - November 24, 2023 (the outdoor rink by the Mammoth Lakes Library has closed)
- Bridgeport Winter Recreation Area - December 2, 2023
- Bridgeport Winter Trail System - As soon as there is enough snow. Grooming and plowing are weather-dependent from January - April.
- Mammoth Mountain Snowcat Tours - December TBD
- Mammoth Mountain Snowmobile Adventures - December 15, 2023
- June Mountain Ski Area – December 23, 2023 (first projected to open 12/16, postponed one week)
