California’s Great Beyond

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park, one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls. But within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. Mono County is the east entrance to Yosemite National park, via highway 120, Tioga Pass, just outside of the town of Lee Vining, CA.
