Just off Highway 395 at the relatively low elevation of 7,000 feet, this 34-site campground (non-electric) is one of the first to be cleared of snow and open each spring. It is located east of Hwy. 395 and Tom's Place/Rock Creek junction, and is named for the tuff rock formations found throughout the grounds.
