A winter deer refuge on the western outskirts of Walker/Coleville, Ca. that is off-limits to motorized vehicles. Hikers and birdwatchers visit this mountainous natural landscape in summertime. Located several miles off Highway 395 on Golden Gate Road just north of town (via Mill Canyon Road).
