At an elevation of 7,200 feet at the base of 11,000 and 12,000-foot snow-shrouded peaks, this is one of the most scenic and activity-rich spots in June Lake, California. Trout fishing, horseback riding and hiking are just a few steps away. A total of 62 (non-electric) sites border either the creek or the lake. Flush toilets and bear lockers are provided. A small store and restaurant are nearby. With easy paved access off the June Lake Loop, this campground is easy to drive to and has a selection of amenities, while providing a peaceful getaway. No wonder everyone raves about Silver Lake! Sites can be reserved online at Recreation.gov, or by calling Toll-Free 877-444-6777.
