Sagehen (Sage Hen) Meadows Campground offers rustic camping with no services at 8,140 feet elevation on the outskirts of Mono Lake. Located 2 miles off Hwy. 120 East (as in, East of Hwy. 395 in an undeveloped area), access is via a dirt road. Enjoy views of the lake several miles away. Sites are dispersed and the only amenities are picnic tables. Bring your own water and sun protection. Nearest town is Lee Vining. Closed in winter. First-come, first-served. Free.
