For group camping at 10,000 feet elevation on a beautiful Eastern Sierra lakeshore, California's highest drive-to camping area is at Saddlebag Lake, just outside the eastern border of Yosemite National Park, off Tioga Pass Rd. (Hwy. 120). This location is surrounded by hiking trails and fishing waters; open in summer and fall. This site is by reservation only.
