A hike that can easily be done in an hour or two from the town of Mammoth Lakes, Panorama Dome is a half-mile (one-way) mostly flat hike across one of Mammoth’s centrally located bluffs. Expect to see a few mountain bikers traversing the shady forest path, then enjoy wide valley views. The trailhead is located in a wide spot of Lake Mary Road just past Twin Lakes turnoff and art gallery.
