Obsidian Flat Group Campground

Camp with up to 50 people and up to five RVs or 15 vehicles at a time in the rugged and beautiful Eastern Sierra wilderness. Located about two miles off Highway 395 between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake and easily accessible via dirt road, this campground is a twenty-minute drive from services yet tucked away. Recreational opportunities include OHV/ATV trails and hiking around the area's fascinating volcanic rock landforms. Fishing in Owens River tributary creeks is nearby. Deadman Campground is located close by. To reach the campground exit west off Highway 395 at the Obsidian Dome exit about 8 miles north of Mammoth Lakes. Bring your own water.
