Molybdenite Trail explores a high elevation creekside between Bridgeport and Walker, Ca., an area known for remote trails, wildflowers and dramatic volcanic landscapes. The hike begins at 7,865 feet in the Obsidian Campground and gains 1,835 feet in about six miles. The trailhead is located off Little Walker Road south of Walker.
