Hunewill Guest Ranch is located northeast of Yosemite National Park in the green, mountainous Bridgeport Valley of California. The Hunewill Ranch is a family owned and operated outfit where great horseback riding is the featured attraction. Hunewill offers you a full ranch experience, including evening activities such as talent night, family dance night, barbecues on the creek, or watching as young foals and yearlings are being gentled. Home style meals are served in the dining room in the founder's Victorian ranch house. You'll stay in comfortable cottages near the horse pasture; allowing you to watch the horses come thundering in early each morning. For a vacation experience suited to families, singles or couples, you won't find a friendlier place. Shopping: Our western/equine-themed gift shop carries t-shirts, sweatshirts, ball caps, mugs, glasses, Sunbody Hats, note cards, vests, books, gloves, engraved wooden frames, posters, wild rags, scarf slides, jewelry and some kids' items. Local crafts & artwork made by our staff members include paintings, horsehair jewelry, and lamps. Hours - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - closed 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. Call for hours after Labor Day. Hunewill Guest Ranch is open Memorial Day through mid October.
