Tucked away in a forest setting, Hartley Springs Campground offers 20 sites about 11 miles north of Mammoth Lakes in the Obsidian Dome area. You won't find stores or development in the immediate vicinity; this is a wilderness recreation area with backcountry OHV/ATV trails and nearby fishing in Owens River tributaries. High clearance vehicles are recommended. The towns of June Lake and Mammoth Lakes are each within a 20-minute drive on Highway 395. Sites are first-come, first-served. Bring your own water and pack your trash in and out.
