A gentle loop that is easy and short, winds around Gull Lake along the June Lake Loop. This trail can be done year round, but is best done when not under feet of snow. This hike is just under 2 miles and is perfect for those with small children, dogs, or someone not looking for a long, strenuous hike. Starting at Gull Lake Park/ June Lake Community Center is best because of the amount of parking available. From there, pick up the trail just left of the Community Center and you're on your way! With several variations and trails you can take, the trail can be a little shorter or longer. Make sure to keep an eye out for the rope swing, located on the West side of Gull Lake... perfect for those young at heart and wishing to take a dip in the lake on a hot day.
