Deadman's Summit is a unique recreation spot located between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake right off Highway 395. In summer, rock climbers come to tackle the boulders that rise from a pine-shaded area close to the highway. In winter, vacationers pull off the highway to find delightful sledding hills. The turnoff is not clearly marked, but it is just south of the Obsidian Dome Rd. intersection.
