Located on the paved section of Owens River Road before it turns to dirt, Big Spring Campground is a 26-site clearing in a pleasant pine forest between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake. It's a great location for OHV/ATV trails in the Lookout Mountain area, fishing Deadman Creek and exploring nearby Obsidian Dome. Enjoy a true wilderness setting, while the convenience of services is 20 minutes away. Bring your own water. Sites are first-come, first-served. To get here, exit Owens River Road east off Highway 395 about 7 miles north of Mammoth Lakes.
