Benton Library

The Benton Library is located on the Edna Beaman Elementary School campus near the junction of Hwy. 6 and 120 in Benton, California. The library serves the school, consisting of grades K-5, as well as the surrounding communities of Benton, Hammil Valley and Chalfant Valley. It is handicap accessible. Benton has six computers available for internet use, free Wifi internet connection and a children's computer equipped with educational games and activities. Our childrens reading area is filled with colorful, animal pillows and child size furniture, ideal for young readers. An adjoining room has several chairs and a TV where teens can relax, use their laptops or visit with their friends. We have the latest in adult fiction, a good collection of books on tape and CD's, and nearly 700 movies on VHS and DVD. Printing, photocopying and faxing is also available. The public is invited to our Story Time Thursdays at 2:00 pm.
