June Mountain is back! It may be renowned for its low angle groomers and family-friendly terrain, but just a short distance away lies some of the best lift-accessed backcountry terrain in the West. Access the San Joaquin Ridge, the Negatives, Fern Creek, Carson Peak, Devil’s Slide, Four Seasons, and more using the assistance of the resort ski lifts. Sierra Mountain Guides exclusively partners with June Mountain to offer backcountry skiing from our on-mountain Backcountry Ski Center using the lifts of the resort! Nobody knows the June Mountain backcountry like Sierra Mountain Guides, and we will find you the goods. Conditions permitting, we can enjoy 5,000 feet of backcountry vertical downhill for only a little more than 2,000 feet of climbing. Some of the best value backcountry in the Sierra!

Sierra Mountain Guides offer skiing in the June Mountain backcountry on a daily basis. Includes avalanche rescue equipment rental (transceiver, shovel, & probe). Discounted lift passes can be purchased to gain the backcountry access.  Does not include rental of skis/snowboards with skins, snowshoes, or poles.

 $585 for the first person then add only $70/person after that for up to 6 people and an unprecedented per person price as low as $156.
