Join us for a unique field trip event exploring local Jeffrey Pine forests. We will be meeting at June Lake Junction at 10am sharp. From there, we will consolidate vehicles and travel in convoy to a couple of locations to explore the current state of the forest and riparian areas.

Parking space in the field is limited, so please carpool with friends or neighbors where possible. 4wd or AWD vehicles are required to access the sites. Field Trips will be lead by Forest Service staff and supported by the Whitebark Institute environmental planning team. Please be prepared to walk from 1-4 miles over the course of the two hour trip.
