Join White Mountain Ranger District Trail Ambassador Jean on an interpretive hike along McGee Creek. Description: The Sierra Nevada and the Mono Basin have been sculpted by volcanoes, glaciations and wildfires. Explore the changing environment on a 3 hour walk making our way up the McGee Creek trail. This trail is moderate although it does gain elevation. Where: McGee Creek Trailhead When: 9am - Noon Saturday, 6/29 Please bring lunch, water, layers, and wear hiking appropriate footwear. Binoculars, cameras, and other accoutrement are encouraged!
