The California Department
of Fish and Wildlife does an excellent job of overseeing the various
hunting seasons in Mono County.
 Whether you hunt with a rifle, bow and arrow, or pistol, you'll find this region
to be rich in game. A number of sporting good establishments in the County can
handle all your requirements for arms, ammunition, licenses and others items.
Several communities, most notably Bridgeport, have annual shooting tournaments
in which you may want to participate.
Naturally hunting is a sport that can be dangerous. Please be careful. We want
you to come back frequently.
