June Lake

Welcome to June Lake, California
Tucked away at the base of 10,909-ft Carson Peak, the scenic 14 mile June Lake Loop is a mountain hideaway. The area has been attracting outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers dating back to Hollywood's discovery of June Lake in the 1920's.

Skiing & Snowboarding at June Mountain: Kids under 12 ski and snowboard free! June Mountain Ski Area opens Dec. 13, 2014 for the 2014-15 winter season. June Mountain is a popular family resort that is great for beginners, children and groups of all ages. In addition to offering affordable lift tickets, the resort offers kids under 12 FREE skiing and snowboarding all winter long -- every day, no restrictions.

Winter Snowmobiling, Cross Country Skiing and more.
Endless winter activities in this mountain enclave include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and good old-fashioned fun in the snow like sledding and building snowmen. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing is available for free in Silver Meadow (bring your own gear). June Lake's restaurants, shops, and four gorgeous lakes, coupled with majestic alpine scenery, create a magical winter retreat, and, quite simply, a deeper mountain experience

Summer Recreation Paradise
The Loop's four glistening lakes, June, Gull, Silver, and Grant, are renowned for fishing and are stocked with trophy-size Alpers trout.  You'll find boat and float tube rentals, plus tackle and guides for your fishing adventures.  Meandering Rush Creek is the perfect spot to test your fly-fishing skills.   Campgrounds, RV Parks, paddleboats, horseback riding and miles of hiking trails provide additional summer enjoyment.
